First Time Bidders:

First time bidders with our gallery must complete an authorization form prior to bidding in our auctions.
To complete the authorization form, please click here and download the form.
Once completed, please email the form to info@nadeausauction.com or if bidding in person you can drop off the form when registering for an auction.

In-Person Bidding:

During the auction, the auctioneer will announce the lot number and brief description of each lot. If you would like to bid simply raise your bidding card so that the Auctioneer can see and acknowledge your bid. When all of the bidding for a lot is complete, the auctioneer will announce the winning bidder number and the winning bid amount. When you have completed your bidding on the lots you are interested in, return your bid card to the reception window, review your invoice, and make arrangements for payment and pickup. By participating in In-Person Bidding, you agree to our Conditions of Sale.

Telephone Bidding:

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PHONE BIDS ARE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM OPENING BID. For general sales the minimum opening bid is $300 or half the low estimate (whichever is greater) Major and/or specialty sales are subject to a higher minimum opening bid. Submitting your phone bid constitutes as acceptance of the minimum bid terms and our conditions of sale.

To register for a phone bid, complete an Absentee Bid Form and submit this to Nadeau’s Auction in person, email, or fax. Please note that you do not need to enter an amount in the bid section of this form. That field is for absentee bids. In order to be sure your bid is received and entered in time, we request that they be submitted at least 24 hours in advance of an auction. You may also send a completed Bid Form by email to info@nadeausauction.com or by faxing it to 860-524-8735. By submitting this form, you agree to our Conditions of Sale and will be registered for the sale.

On the day of auction, a qualified member of our auction team will call you approximately three to five lots before your item is scheduled to be sold. They will confirm with you the item that you are bidding on and the minimum opening bid requirement. The team member will then relay the bidding activity to you and announce your bids to the auctioneer as you request. If you are successful, an invoice will be emailed to you the day of the auction.
