Of straight-sided cylindrical form with domed hinged lid and thumbpiece, engraved with the arms of the King family and the initials “R.K.” to the handle. Bearing London hallmarks for 1701 and accompanied by two letters of provenance (dated 1955) attesting to its authenticity and early ownership within the King and Ormonde families.
