with serpentine front and elaborate floral and bird marquetry inlay of exotic woods, fall-front opens to a fitted interior with a leather writing surface and small drawers, over a pair of lower cabinet doors opening to reveal a fitted drawer with silk-lined bottom, surmounted by a molded Breccia marble top and mounted with gilt-bronze ormolu mounts and sabots, 19th century

Condition:

Presents well, veneer lifting and a crack to body of chest, specifically front doors and lower left side, minor scratching to marble, veneer chips noted along the front skirt
