ovoid urn exquisitely decorated with pâte-sur-pâte neoclassical reserves depicting a dancing maiden and attendant fairy in white slip on a mauve ground, the translucent layered relief showcasing fine modeling and delicate detailing, the surrounding pale blue body is enriched with gilt and polychrome foliate borders and fitted with raised gilt serpent-form handles, the domed cover is adorned with gilt acanthus and a bud finial, all raised on a square stepped base with gilt accents, Meissen blue crossed swords mark to underside
