A complementary pair of finely painted oils depicting two distinguished gentlemen—one after Raphael’s Portrait of a Young Man, the other after Van Dyck’s Self-Portrait; each rendered with sensitive modeling, rich coloration, and the refined brushwork characteristic of the Old Master tradition

acquired in Ireland from a dealer noting the Van Dyck influence
Both have varnish and chips to frames. Surface grime and craquelure.
