Large map of ancient and modern Rome with extensive letterpress-style index surrounding the central plan, executed in Piranesi’s distinctive architectural manner, richly detailed with monuments, streets, fountains, and the topography of the Campo Marzio. Lower dedication cartouche referencing Clemente XIII. Handsomely presented in a wide archival mat and later wood frame.

Condition:

Fold lines, foxing. Small rip/loss to center of fold lines. Yellowing to paper. Some ripping to borders. Water damage. Undulation to paper.
