A rare Florentine stucco bas-relief depicting the Madonna and Child surrounded by angels, executed in the manner of Donatello (1386–1466). The relief retains traces of its original polychrome paint and is set into an early iron frame with protruding leaf-corner brackets. Housed within a later molded walnut frame and wine-velvet-covered casing
