A carved marble figure of the prophet Moses, depicted standing and holding the Tablets of the Law against his chest. Moses is shown with small horns projecting from his brow, following the medieval iconographic tradition that arose from a Biblical mistranslation, The bearded figure is modeled with strong, angular facial features and deeply carved robes falling in heavy Gothic folds
