diminutive mahogany portable chest fitted with two over three drawers, all retaining original brass pulls and escutcheons, the drawers fitted with functioning locks, with brass side carrying handles, flanked by turned quarter columns and raised on shaped bracket feet, the top secured with pins, the form and construction consistent with a functional document or desk chest.
