likely Boston circa 1760, note in drawer reads: “This bureau belonged to my mother’s father Eboneezer Beckford of Salem, Massachusetts who died in 1817 then into my mother’s possession from hence to me many years since Hannah H.B. Webb 1889 my mother was Mrs. Nathan Robinson of Salem, Massachusetts” second note reads: “Bureau belonging to my Grandfather Ebenezer Beckford who died in 1907 HHBW”
