Boston Tow Boat Co. was a prominent operator of tug and tow vessels in Boston Harbor during the late 19th century.

A finely detailed three-masted ship-of-the-line model with three full gun decks and rows of pierced portholes, constructed of bone with black-and-white plank decoration, flying a British Naval Jack, and fully rigged with masts, spars, and cord rigging. Displayed on a wood base within a later glazed display case.
