designed as a continuous graduated line of fifty-two old European-cut diamonds with a color grade of G-H and a clarity range of VS-SI, each stone mounted in an open-back silver collet over gold, linked together to form a flexible chain; terminating with a concealed clasp also accented with an old-cut diamond and fitted with an attached safety chain for security, late 18th to 19th century
