Continental Japanned Corner Cupboard
18th Century
A two-part arched-top corner cupboard decorated in black and gilt japanning, the upper section with double doors elaborately decorated with landscapes, pavilions, birds, and flowering trees, opening to a shelved interior. The lower section fitted with a single drawer over a pair of paneled doors similarly decorated, raised on a molded plinth base.
