    A richly embroidered robe, the yellow silk ground decorated with large roundels of mountains rising from waves amid ruyi-shaped clouds, bats, and auspicious emblems. The hem bordered with multicolored lishui (diagonal water stripes) rising from rolling waves with foaming crests. Executed in fine satin stitch and couching with brightly colored silks.

    Condition: Some wear, minor fading and fraying to silk consistent with age; overall excellent detail and vibrant colors.
