Depicting a pair of small birds among blooming peonies and foliage, one in flight and the other perched on a branch, characteristic of the bird-and-flower tradition. Mounted with a patterned silk brocade border in green and gilt, and later framed under glass with a giltwood frame.

Condition: Toning and light creasing consistent with age, minor losses, not examined out of frame.
