Comprising a whale ivory and iron triple-sheave pulley block; a small piece of whale bone; and a leather and whale ivory-mounted flask.

Condition: Wear, cracks, and age-expected use throughout; overall good.

A finely engraved scrimshaw whale’s tooth depicting a spread-winged American eagle with shield marked “U.S.A.,” clutching arrows and an olive branch. Above inscribed “1859 / LONG ISLAND / RICHD KANE.” Warm age patina throughout.

Condition: Minor age cracks and scattered abrasions; overall very good with strong engraving.

A large whale’s tooth decorated with incised scrimshaw, one side depicting a sailing ship at sea with a whale surfacing amid waves, the obverse with a small whaling boat and men in pursuit. Warmly patinated surface.
