the domed leaded-glass shade intricately composed of variegated favrile glass in a painterly palette of lavender, cobalt, gold, cream, and deep green, forming a continuous band of blooming pansies against a mottled white and green geometric upper register, the flowers exhibit exceptional “plating” effects and strong striations, lending depth and luminosity typical of the firm’s finest floral shades, set upon an original patinated bronze twisted stem base with a scalloped platform foot cast with radiating lotus motifs, the surface retaining a rich dark brown patina, base signed “Tiffany Studios New York 28615”, shade signed “tiffany Studios New York”
