A staved and bound wooden shipping barrel of tapered form, the top smaller than the bottom, with fitted lid, retaining its original paint and stenciled lettering reading “C.C. Buck / Fair Haven Conn.” Retains original iron hardware and side handles.

Gilt-Bronze Scenic Panel Lamp with French Views
19th century, fitted with four convex scenic panels under glass, each panel depicting a finely printed or hand-colored French landscape view with estates, gardens, and parkland. The shaped frames are mounted with elaborate rococo gilt-bronze foliate ornaments, the central lamp standard rises from an ornate cast gilt-bronze base with scroll and acanthus decoration.
