featuring a long-tailed parrot perched upon a curling rocaille branch issuing three foliate candle arms, the gilt-bronze is richly detailed with acanthus, shell, and floral ornament late 19th–early 20th century, each adorned with faceted rock crystal drops including large teardrop, flower-form, and oval prisms, the parrots exhibit sharply defined plumage and elegant movement; crystal elements are bright, in the manner of François Linke (French, 1855–1946)
