Mahogany tall-case clock with an arched bonnet surmounted by brass finials and pierced foliate fretwork, the hood is fitted with full stop-fluted brass-mounted columns, and the trunk with stop-fluted quarter columns, the brass and silvered dial includes Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, a calendar aperture, and a Strike/Silent selector in the arch, all within an engraved gilt-brass mask, the case features an arched trunk door above a molded plinth base, eight-day movement signed Dan Ray, Sudbury, weights and pendulum are not present, English, C. 1800

Condition:

Presents well, wear consistent with age; movement incomplete (weights and pendulum absent); case with age-appropriate marks, minor veneer cracks to hood, top left corner of door missing 1/2 inch piece of molding
