richly decorated hand-painted Limoges porcelain tureen with matching cover and undertray, produced by Atelier Le Tallec for Tiffany & Co. in the elaborate “Horoscope” pattern, the platter and tureen are decorated throughout with raised and burnished gilt, incorporating zodiac symbols and neoclassical motifs, the tureen features a detailed cover surmounted by an openworked gilded gourd-and-leaf finial, and branch-form handles extending into gilt feet, both the platter and the tureen are marked underneath “TIFFANY & CO. PRIVATE STOCK / HANDPAINTED / MADE IN FRANCE”, together with the Le Tallec blue mark and additional impressed and painted marks

Overall good condition, minor scuffs to gilting
