each rectangular panel worked in silk thread depicting figural narrative scenes with attendants and mounted figures amid stylized landscape elements, the horseback scene showing two warriors in dynamic motion, one rider astride a galloping horse turning back toward his opponent, the other figure brandishing raised weapons, both dressed in traditional garments with red headgear and sashes, conveying a sense of action and martial display. Reserved on a dark ground with decorative upper borders, mounted and framed as a single display.
