A finely cast bronze figure of the crowned Virgin holding the Christ Child, both standing before a dramatic radiating aureole of flame-form spikes. The Virgin is rendered in traditional Gothic revival manner, with flowing robes, a domed crown, and serene facial expression. The figure is mounted on a carved wooden Gothic-form base
