carved as the mitred bust of Saint Boniface, depicted with flowing beard and draped vestments, executed in deep relief and retaining traces of its original polychrome and gilding. Set upon an integral rectangular reliquary base fitted with an oval, glass-fronted cavity housing curled gilt tendrils and a paper label inscribed “S. Bonifacio.”
