French catalog label verso linking the work to the Cardinal Fesch collection (unverified) and restoration label of Momper, Paris rentoileur to the Musées Impériaux, 11 rue des Marais Saint-Germain, dating the restoration to circa 1860.

Condition: Relined, surface stable, scattered retouching visible under UV, light craquelure consistent with age. Presented in a period giltwood frame.
