A large Chinese black lacquer screen with gilt decoration, each panel painted with floral and bird reserves, rockery, and bamboo, all within borders of gilt dragons among clouds and foliage. Reverse plain black lacquer. Hinged construction for folding display.

Condition: Surface wear, scratches, scattered chips, and losses to lacquer; hinges with wear; overall stable and decorative.
