designed in an elaborate openwork foliate and floral motif set throughout with old mine-cut and rose-cut diamonds, centering an octagonal step-cut emerald of vivid green color, suspending a detachable pendant drop centering a square step-cut emerald of similar hue, framed by rose-cut diamonds in scrolling surrounds; the reverse with hinged pin stem with clasp, late 18th to 19th century
height 2 1/4 inches, one emerald 8.3mm x 8.3mm and 3.09 carats, the other 9.7mmx 12.4 mm and 3.41 carats, 17.31 grams total weight
