the finely crafted hilt and guard mounted with old mine- and rose-cut diamonds in silver-topped settings, accented by scrolling foliate motifs and a single small pearl mounted at the center of the crossguard, the grip detailed with ribbed gold and white enamel wirework, surmounted by a small crown-form pommel, the blade tapers to a point and is further accented with a line of graduated old-cut diamonds (one missing), the reverse fitted with a gold pin stem, a fine safety chain is attached at the guard
