London, 1804, Large oval tray with reeded border, elaborate serpent-form handles, and four paw feet, the center engraved with an armorial crest and an inscription: “A Legacy of the Rev’d John Bentinck. Obit June 1804. — H.C. from R.B.C. January 1905” hallmarked for London, 1804, maker’s mark of Thomas Hannam & John Crouch II.
