European Silver Baroque Chalice (Pre-1800)
finely crafted Baroque silver chalice featuring a gold-washed bowl with an applied 800-silver chased sleeve decorated in high-relief repoussé grapevines, wheat stalks, and foliate motifs, the stem and broad petal-form base continue the repoussé decoration with panels of wheat, grapes, and figural scenes, consistent with late 18th-century European ecclesiastical work, the sleeve of the cup bears hallmarks including a crowned maker’s mark, silver standard mark “800,” and an additional assay punch
height 10 1/2 inches, total weight 20.2 troy ounces

Good condition, minor gilt loss and light scuffs
