Albany, New York, mid-19th century, a five-piece coin silver tea and coffee service in a richly repoussé Rococo pattern, including a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, waste bowl, and cream jug, each raised on a pedestal foot with beaded borders, bodies are decorated with scrolling foliate panels, floral cartouches, and rocaille accents, each piece fitted with ornate naturalistic handles and finials embellished with leaf and blossom motifs (one finial detached but present), marked MULFORD & WENDELL / ALBANY, each piece testing as coin silver (0.900 fine).
