Bill Worrell (American, 1936–2021) “The Nine Mysteries”
depicting a stylized shamanic figure with dramatically outstretched arms, antler-like extensions at the head, and multiple coiled arm rings, executed in Worrell’s iconic elongated form. The figure features a tall tapering body with a central gilt band and textured patinas, including turquoise-green draped cloak elements. The reverse is incised with the full inscription: “The Nine Mysteries / New Art Studio / the first day after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox / 1994 / 7:21 PM / Worrell.”
