Large assorted collection of world coins and banknotes including examples from Great Britain, France, Germany, Mexico, Australia, and other countries; visible pieces include several early to mid-20th century British pennies and halfpennies depicting George V, George VI, and Elizabeth II; Mexican pesos; French 10 francs; Australian shillings; and various European copper, nickel, and silver pieces. Also includes a selection of early 20th-century paper money such as German Notgeld 5 Mark (Ahlen, Westfalen, 1918) and French Chamber of Commerce notes (Paris, Le Havre).
All lots are sold “AS IS” The condition of lots can vary widely and are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. *No credit card payments will be accepted for silver, gold, or jewelry from buyers that have not purchased from our gallery in the past. Condition Reports are available by request and answered in the order they are received starting the week of the sale. Our in house buyer’s premium (applies for absentee and phone bidders) is 25% and we offer a 3% discount for cash, check, wire, or Zelle payments. If you are bidding through a third party platform you must make payment through that platform. Our online buyers premium for all third party sites is 30% (there are no discounts offered for 3rd party bidding platforms). Our buyer’s premium for our own website is 30%, there is a 3% discount offered for cash, check, Zelle, or Wire payments for buyer’s using only our site or who are bidding in house.
